Mythic Boon

Boons are the unsung heroes of the Mythic rules. Trials may represent the completion of major arcs, but boons represent the cool moments that leave everyone at the table smiling.

As a GM, when a player does something sweet and Mythic, give them a boon. Throw out mythic power like candy, encouraging behavior that fits your vision of "mythic."

It's important not to forget support characters in the rush. Consider where the cleric saving her companions from the brink of death or the bard who inspired the army's charge fall into your view of "mythic."

One other thing it's easy to forget is how much mythic action occurs outside of combat. Did your trickster just pull one over on the God of Thunder? Give him a mythic power, because he's going to need it in about five seconds.
